Sydney Harbour is a harbour located in Sydney, Australia. In Disney/Pixar's 2003 animated motion-picture show, Finding Nemo, this is where Marlin and Dory go to find Nemo. Sydney Harbour was first seen (every bit a discussion) on the mask. Some of the inhabitants of the harbour include pelicans similar Nigel, Horace, Zeke, Stuart, Ed, Lyle, Daniel and Gerald, various seagulls, and crabs.

The Rescuers Down Under
When Wilbur flies Miss Bianca and Bernard into Australia, he flies over the harbour and passes the Sydney Opera Firm.
Finding Nemo
When Marlin and Dory arrive at the harbor after existence shot out of the Whale's blowhole, they are suddenly swallowed whole by Gerald, who then threatens to eat them but to stopped by Nigel, some other pelican who knows who Nemo is and his current whereabouts since he is constantly visiting Dr. Sherman's dentist part. When Nigel notices a flock of seagulls arriving to eat Marlin and Dory, he scoops them up and flies them to the dentist'southward office while luring the gulls into a sailboat, causing them to crash into the sails while the pelican flies through the empty space formed past the boat's mast.
When Marlin thinks that Dr. Sherman'southward niece Darla had killed Nemo by shaking his plastic bag (he's pretending to play dead to trick Dr. Sherman to flush him downwards the toilet), Nigel returns him and Dory to the harbor in grief, and the two to part ways, only for Nemo to emerge from a sewage pipe leading from the dentist's office and meet Dory, who then asks him to observe Marlin. During their search, Dory is accidentally caught in a line-fishing net, causing Nemo to warn his father and prompting Dory and the other fish to escape the cyberspace past literally swimming downward, causing the net to exist weighed to the point that it literally gets torn autonomously, allowing the fish to swim free. Nemo'south program succeeds, and the three all return dwelling house together.

It can be briefly seen in the credits for Cars 2, where Lightning McQueen and Mater are shown climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

- In Cars 2, part of the Sydney Opera House'due south podium is modelled on the front of a Holden FC.
- In The Rescuers Down Under when Wilbur flies past the Opera House, the building is rendered in CGI. The Rescuers Down Nether was the beginning Disney animated film to feature fully-rendered CGI backgrounds.
- There was an abased Disney resort concept chosen Disney Wharf at Sydney Harbour which had to be in this particular location.
